Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)



Here at Beeline we’re appreciative that some of the terminology we use may be a little bit hard to understand, so we’ve put together a list of the most common questions we get asked on a day to day basis. Are we real people – can you talk to us? 
Absolutely and we encourage this, we love talking to our customers, it helps us understand you and we hope you to understand us, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible customer care. If you wish to speak to one of our experienced account managers to discuss your specific project requirements then simply give us call. Alternatively we are aware we now live in a 24/7 world so if you wish to email your enquiry through to sales@beeline-promo.co.uk and we will reply just to you ASAP. Each enquiry is given a dedicated professional account manager to ensure continuity of your enquiry.

How can I request a quotation?
If you wish give us a call, we will take some details regarding your enquiry and then e-mail over a formal quote for you to consider, alternatively drop us an e-mail and we can send the info over for you too. We are more than happy to provide images, specifications and information for your enquiry.

When are we open?
Our standard business days / times are Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (closed on Bank Holidays), however we are appreciative of our market and although the door may be closed we are always available for our clients, if you need help we are there for you.

How do I know if my Logo will look good – Can you supply a product visual?
Absolutely, we believe in ensuring that our clients are 100% satisfied prior to receiving an order, we can offer pre order visuals and you will always receive a PDF proof of the final artwork before any production is commenced.

Can I receive actual product samples?
Again we wouldn’t expect you to make an investment in a product blindly, we are more than happy to supply physical samples of any product – there are however sometimes cost implications to this but we will discuss this with you and come to an amicable agreement ensuring you are in the right place to proceed with your enquiry. Please note though that product samples will be plain (or will be branded with an alternative logo) and will not feature your branding, we can offer personalised samples for you and again we are more than happy to discuss this with you.

I like you, How do I place my order?
Once you are happy with your quotation, visuals and/ or product samples, if you wish to place an order, simply email us by return or call your dedicated account manager and they will talk you through the final ordering process.

What do you mean you need artwork?
Ideally we need your artwork in an eps format. A jpeg or similar formatted file is not of a high enough resolution to provide for a truly professional finish. However, if you are struggling in this area our professional design team  will prepare the necessary artwork free of charge.

Do the prices include VAT and Carriage?
All prices on the website are excluding VAT and carriage. VAT will be charged at the relevant applicable rate and carriage will be quoted as applicable at the time you are quoted.

What is a Screen and why do you charge me for them?
In order to print your order we need to create a screen (or tool) for your specific logo and imprint details. This is necessary due to the fact that every order is individual and printed just for you. On repeat orders because the screens already exist there is sometimes a small administration charge (sometimes there isn’t, if we don’t get charged you don’t).

What is an Embroidery Jacquard?
In order to embroider your logo we need to make an embroidery disc which is unique to your design. This is the charge for making the embroidery disc that is then used in the machine to embroider your artwork onto the products.

Will I see a proof of my order?
Once you have placed your order we will provide you with a pdf file for your final approval before proceeding to production. In some cases, we will produce a pre-production sample of the actual product printed with your details (these will be discussed with you at the time of ordering).

What is an imprint colour?
We can match your logo colours to the colour we print onto your chosen product (subject to product specification and print method), please consider the contrast between the item and the print colour when choosing. The industry works to what is called Pantone Colours however due to the nature of different products Pantone matching cannot always be guaranteed. It is also worth noting that if you are printing onto a shiny product such as a plastic pen then the end print colour will look slightly different to that printed on to say a t-shirt where the ink gets absorbed slightly into the fabric. Our account managers are fully trained in this area and will always provide you with the best possible advice.

Do you offer a price match guarantee?
We are aware there are a vast range of promotional product distributors in the UK and indeed we are aware we are in a very competitive market so yes where feasible we will offer a price match guarantee (subject to T&C)

We do ask that our terms are met when asking for a price match and these can be obtained from your account manager at anytime.

How do I pay for my order?
You can pay for your order in a variety of ways either by credit card, cheque or bacs. For new accounts payment is required on order placement, however we are happy to extend credit terms after an initial order (subject to good account practice and agreement of our standard business terms), this can be discussed with your dedicated account manager.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Production times vary depending on the actual product. The average lead time is around 10 working days, however we will advise you of an expected delivery date of each product ordered just as soon as all processes have been completed, we can often squeeze jobs in around standard lead times so if you have a query just ask and we will do all we can to ensure you have what you need, when you need it for.

I have an item in mind that isn’t on the website – can you help?
in a vast majority of cases –Yes! Our website is host to a range of promotional products but we are also able to source so many more and if we can’t we can always look at bespoke products for your brand. Speak to your account manager if you can’t find the specific product you are looking for and they will do their utmost (and quite often more) to meet your requirements.

Can you supply me with a hard copy catalogue?
We have a range of brochures available and we are always happy to send these out for you, however due to the number of products we have on offer the website is the most comprehensive source, but our catalogues generally speaking feature our most popular product lines.

Can you print on anything?
Yes subject to print specifications and limitations we don’t like saying no to anything. There are thousands of products available to us from stockists worldwide all of which can be branded.

Promotional Products – What are they good for?

Research has been done time and time again and studies will show that a promotional item will live a long time past a free gift or reduction in prices, imagine your brand being in someones hand potentially 24/7 for a one off cost
